A Jewish burial site has been established at Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery and is believed to be the first in North Wales. The only remaining synagogue in North Wales is now in Llandudno (est. 1946) [sic. comment by David Shulman, Webmaster of JCR-UK - the Llandudno Synagogue was established in 1905], close to Llanrhos cemetery. The burial section at Llanrhos is to be run on liberal Judaism lines, with arrangements left up to the bereaved family to decide how they wish to hold the funeral and mourn afterwards.
