MASS GRAVES: [January 2009]

In SE Pohrebyshche at Kotsiubynskoho Street on a hillside: Occasionally visitors stop at the site surrounded by a broken fence and a gate that does not lock. Marked by a sign that mentions the Holocaust in Hebrew and Russian, memorial stones were erected since 1965. Municipal authorities and Ukrainian Jews carried out work. An unpaid caretaker cares for the site. [January 2009]

At center of town at 109 Khmelnytskoho Street: A fence and gate that locks surround the mass grave. Access is with permission from the municipality, which owns the site. Organized tours, private visitors, and local residents visit. The site has not been vandalized.

NW part of the town, Haharina Street, at the bottom of the ravine: Local authorities restored this mass grave in 1965.
