NIZYN: Chernihivska oblast

MASS GRAVE: A fence surrounds the site. No vandalism. No sign marks the mass grave, but a single gravestone commemorates all the victims. Occasionallly, visitors on organized tours stop. The municipality, which owns the site, periodically clean the site. [January 2009]
