Kingstree is a town of about 5000 between Charleston and Florence, about 20 miles east of I-95 (65 miles from the coast). Temple Beth Or was closed in February 2005 after being in this community since the mid-1940's. We were featured in the first printing of The Jewish Historical Society of South Carolina.
