Vieska nad Zitavou is located E of Nitra. Last known Jewish burial was 1937. The urban hillside, part of a municipal cemetery, has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a fence and non-locking gate. 1-20 19th-20th century marble, granite, and sandstone flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed and inscribed stones are in original locations. Inscriptions are Hebrew, German, and Hungarian. The property is Jewish cemetery only. Adjacent properties are agricultural and residential. Private citizens visit rarely. Individuals clear or clean occasionally. No threats.
