Sturovo is located in Nove Zamky, E of Komarno. The flat urban site, separate but near other cemeteries, has Hebrew and Hungarian inscriptions on the pre-burial house. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a masonry wall and locking gate. Present size of the cemetery is 70x20 meters. 100-500 19th-20th century marble, granite, and other materials flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed and inscribed stones are in original locations. Inscriptions are Hebrew and Hungarian. The property is Jewish cemetery only. Adjacent properties are residential. Private visitors visit occasionally. Restoration: re-erection of stones, patching broken stones, cleaning stones, clearing vegetation, and fixing of wall. Occasionally, individuals clean and clear the site. No threats.
