Smolnik is located in Spisska Nova Ves, W of Kosice. The isolated wooded hillside has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a broken masonry wall without gate. 20-100 19^th and 20th century marble, granite, sandstone, and other materials flat shaped tombstones with Hebrew and German inscriptions are in original locations. Adjacent properties are forest. Rarely, private individuals visit. Vegetation is a moderate threat, disturbing graves.
