US Commission Number. SLCE000060: Poprad is located in Poprad, NW of Spisska Nova Ves. The isolated flat urban location is reached by turning directly off a public road. Access is open to all via a broken masonry wall and a non-locking gate. 20-100 19th-20th century marble and granite flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed and inscribed tombstones with Hebrew and German inscriptions are in original locations. Adjacent properties are residential. Private citizens visit rarely. Within the cemetery is a pre-burial house with Hebrew wall inscriptions. Pollution and Security are moderate threats; vandalism is a serious threat.
