Margecany is located in Spisska Nova Ves. The isolated suburban wooded hillside has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a broken masonry wall without gate. 1-20 19th-20th century tombstones, in original locations, are marble flat shaped tombstones with Hebrew inscriptions. The property is used for waste dump or abandoned [unclear]. Adjacent properties are residential and forest. Private visitors visit occasionally. Pollution, vegetation, and vandalism are moderate threats.
