Kostolany pod Tribecom is located NE of Nitra, 4825 1815, 55.2 miles ENE of Bratislava. The isolated wooded hillside cemetery has no sign or maker. Reached by crossing a forest, access us open to all via fence and locking gate. Before W.W.II, the cemetery was 20x20 meters but now 2x2 meters. One 20th century marble and sandstone flat shaped tombstone inscribed in Hebrew and German is in original location. The site, used for Jewish cemetery only, adjoins a forest. Cemetery boundaries are smaller than in 1939 due to new roads or highways and 1 grave. Occasionally, private visitors stop. Restoration: re-erection of stones, patching broken stones, cleaning stones. Occasionally, individuals clean and clear. Vandalism is a moderate threat.
