Jesenske is located S of Rimavska Sobota. The flat urban isolated location has no sign or marker. Reached by crossing private property (Nr. 456), access is open to all via a continuous fence and a non-locking gate. 1-20 19th-20th century marble, granite, and other materials tombstones, in original locations, are flat shaped or finely smoothed and inscribed stones with Hebrew and German inscriptions. The property is used for agriculture. Adjacent properties are agricultural and residential. Occasionally, private visitors stop. Occasionally, individuals clear or clean. There are no threats.

History of Village: 1274, the village called Feled. The name of the village was later changed to Feledincze, Feled, Veledín and Feledince. Since 1948 has the village been called Jesenské, after Slovak poet and writer Janko Jesensky. The village was in a property of the Rátolty family, then in the 15 th century a property of Fledi family.Turks sacked the village in 1553.Later was the village was a Gemer and Hajnac domain.
