US Commission No. SLCE000261: Hostova is located E of Nitra. The cemetery at he isolated rural crown of a hill has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a broken masonry wall without gate. 1-20 marble and sandstone flat shaped 19th-20th century tombstones in original locations have Hebrew and German inscriptions. Adjacent properties are agricultural. Private visitors stop rarely. Pollution is a moderate threat; vegetation and vandalism are serious threats; security is a minor threat.
