Cifer (old) is located SW of Trnava.

Cifer (new) cemetery is liquidated. Isolated and by water, the suburban hillside has no sign or maker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a broken masonry wall without gate. 1-20 19th-20th century marble, granite, and sandstone tombstones in original locations are flat shaped or finely smoothed and inscribed stones with Hebrew and German inscriptions. Adjacent properties are agricultural. Rarely, private visitors stop. Pollution, vegetation (disturbing graves), and vandalism are serious threats. Security and weather erosion are minor threats.
