Bolesov is located in Povazska Bystrica, N of Trencin between fields and woods, on an isolated hillside with no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via broken masonry walls and no gate. 20-100 19th-20th century marble and sandstone flat shaped tombstones in original locations have Hebrew and German inscriptions. Adjacent properties are agricultural. Rarely, private visitors stop. There has been clearing of the vegetation and occasional clearing and cleaning by individuals. Vandalism is a moderate threat; erosion is a serious threat.
