Alternate name: Alekšince, Elecske. 4822 1757 , 41.1 miles ENE of Bratislava. Aleksince is located in Nitra, NW of the town. The last known Jewish burial was in 1881. The rural (agricultural) flat land, separate but near other cemeteries, has no sign, marker, gate or walls. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all, 1-20 marble 19th century flat shaped tombstones with Hebrew and German inscriptions are in original locations. Adjacent properties are agricultural. Private visitors go to the cemetery rarely. Individuals clear or clean occasionally. No threats. [date-before 1997]
