51°28' N 20°01' E, 68.4 miles SW of Warszawa. Tresta Rządowa is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tomaszów Mazowiecki, within Tomaszów Mazowiecki powiat, Łódź Voivodeship in central Poland, 4 mi S of Tomaszów Mazowiecki and 32 mi SE of the regional capital Łódź. [July 2009]

Jews from nearby Żarnów also used the 1-hectare Jewish cemetery in Tresta established in the 19th century. During WWII, the Germans destroyed the cemetery, leaving only 10 gravestones and a fragment of the fence. After the war the local authorities used the grounds to build a football field. photos.
