Jewish population: 1,920 (in 1890). Yizkors: Radomysl Rabati ve-ha-seviva; sefer yizkor (Tel Aviv, 1965) and Pinkas ha-kehilot; entsiklopediya shel ha-yishuvim le-min hivasdam ve-ad le-aher shoat milhemet ha-olam ha-sheniya: Poland vol. 3: Western Galicia and Silesia (Jerusalem, 1984). CEMETERY: The cemetery existed by the end of the 18th century. The land for the cemetery was a gift from the town owners on which a synagogue, a Betit Midrash, and a mikvah also were built. Mass graves exist. photo. [August 2005]
