This town in Silesia  in the Silesian Highlands in southern Poland near Katowice borders on the Upper Silesian Metropolitan Union, a metropolis with a population of 2,000,000 in the Silesian Voivodeship since 1999, previously in Katowice Voivodeship. CEMETERY: Established before 1841 with the last burial in 1920., the oldest gravestone dates from 1841 with a total of over randomly arranged 100 matzevot visible, but only about twenty gravestones in original location.
