51°34' N 9°15' E, 188.0 miles WSW of Berlin. municipality in Höxter district. Borgentreich lies roughly 20 km S of Brakel and 10 km NE of Warburg. The community of Borgholz lies on the foothill of a high ridge NE of Borgentreich (main town).

Cemetery: 2 km outside the village on a hillside in the Peitzbreite, surrounded by fields and woodland (hall 17, No. 48). Used 1840 to first half 20th century. Fifteen visible gravestones. Nazi vandalism means remaining gravestones are not in original location. [Sept  2012]
