Beit Moed leKol Hai Elat Cemetery:

The cemetery is located about 2 km. north of the center of the town and operated by the Elat Hevra Kadish, a branch of the Elat Religious Council. The cemetery now has an office on the grounds and a sign. Beit Moed leKol Hai Elat is Hebrew for Elat Cemetery. Postal address, Elat Hevra Kadisha, Ta Doar 15, Elat 88100. Source: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The cemetery at Elot is west of the kibbutz, just outside the perimeter fence. Since the gate in the kibbutz fence is usually closed, you have a very healthu hike around from the entrance to the kibbutz on the east side, facing the Arava Highway. There is a very rough dirt road also that can lead you to the cemetery. I did not make an extensive survey of the burials, but I would guess there are about fifteen. There are no directional signs and no sign at the entrance to the cemetery. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it [August 2013]
