HOLY TRINITY CHURCHYARD, KIRK PATRICK: Print
  • Kirk Patrick is a small village on the Isle of Man, situated inland, to the south of the town of Peel on the west coast of the island.
  • Two graves of Jewish German civilian internees of World War I are located in the Holy Trinity churchyard, Kirk Patrick . The churchyard was opposite the internment camp so all burials of deceased internees were at the church, about 130 mostly Germans but also some Austrians and some Turks. In 1962, the majority of the Germans were re-interred in a German War   Source: Harold Pollins [September 2006]
