KURUL (Maharashtra)

The cemetery is on the road from Cheul to Alibag, 5 km from Cheul. Across Palav Phata cemetery on the right beside the road, then travel another 4/5 km. Kurul Jewish cemetery is beside the road on the right and difficult to find hidden among marshy growth. Two gravestones remain visible although toppled. Photos. JOWBR listing. [August 2010]
