Jewish cemetery [March 2009]

2006 Restoration: Restoration of the Jewish cemetery at Bana commenced thanks to Zoltán Somogyi, a local entrepreneur. The cemetery choked with 2 m acacia trees completely blocked about 50 gravestones, most still standing. Donations to this cemetery from Gitta Hönig in Israel, Komárom-Esztergom county, and the MAZSIHISZ enabled the restoration. [Source Sep 2012]
