Old City Cemetery: Jewish Section from the 1800s. Source: Rabbi Stanley J. Though a large obelisk with the Star of David over the inscription still exists, most of the burials at the turn of the century probably later were moved to Jacksonville. The remains of Mr. R.S. Williams and Mr. Max Diamond were brought from Jacksonville on Wednesday and interred; instrumental in building of Floridian Hotel; successful merchant who turned his business over to son-in-law Jacob R. QUINCY Municipal Cemetery: early 1900s; Jewish section has burials of families active in tobacco business. Specific names are Ottinger, Gardner, Weinberg, and Scadron.   • "For almost a hundred years, the Jews of Quincy, Florida used a Bainbridge, Georgia cemetery for their burials.
