Rozmberk Society is a Czech-based non-profit organization for conservation of natural and cultural heritage. One of their main projects is restoration of several Jewish cemeteries in S Bohemia and fund-raising for the restoration of one synagogue. The community lacks sufficient funds to restore sites and gives priority to the main sites in Prague and other large cities. Thus, the smaller cemeteries in S Bohemia could deteriorate beyond repair, despite their historic importance with gravestones dating back to the 17-18th centuries. This work is done in conjunction with the Jewish Community of Prague. For further information contact Society for Conservation of Nature and Cultural Heritage, Dukelska 135, P.O.
