45°16' N 15°14' E, 52.4 miles SW of Zagreb, Ogulin is in Karlovac County on the edge of a region called Gorski Kotar.

Ogulin-Modrush valley (Ogulin-Modruš) that is situated between the Adriatic coast and Zagreb and extends from the town Ogulin about 25 kilometres to the south. The Croatian town Ogulin lies only about 20 kilometes south of the Slovenian border that is through the Kolpa river (German: Kulpa, Croatian: Kupa). seder plate in museum.  [February 2009]
