Belarusian: Цімкавічы. 53°04' N, 26°59' E, 24 miles W of Slutsk, 8 miles SW of Kapyl, 62.3 miles SSW of Minsk, in Kopylskiyi district/Slutsk uezd, Minsk guberniya. 1900 Jewish population: 1,523. Słownik Geograficzny Królestwa Polskiego (1880-1902), XII, p. 707: "Tymkowicze".
