NOTES:
The cemetery is surrounded by a low solid stone wall. It has a wrought-iron gate hung between two stone pillars. The cemetery is relatively dark because it is covered by an umbrella of deciduous trees. It is kept in excellent condition. It was acquired in 1943 by Berthold Schenk, Count von Stauffenberg. He was one of two brothers, who were both executed by the Nazis on 10 August 1944, following their well known unsuccessful attempt on Hitler's life.
Desecrations took place in 1921 and again in 1936, when 13 gravestones were uprooted..
