Alternate names: Korneuburg [Ger], 48°21' N, 16°20' E on the Danube, 11 miles NW of Wien. Korneuburg is a town located in Lower Austria and administrative center of the district of Korneuburg on the left bank of the Danube, opposite the city of Klosterneuburg with a 2001 population of 11,032. CEMETERY: "Founded during WW I, the cemetery was in use from 1919 to 1959 and contains about 25 graves as part of the much larger Catholic cemetery (A-2100 Korneuburg, Stockerauerstrasse)." JOWBR burial list. [July 2009]
